The PF Women Team at our Annual Team Retreat ~ 2018 Today on Seth Godin's blog, he said: It's tempting to decide to make a profit first, then invest in training, people, facilities, promotion, customer service and most of all, doing important work. In general, though, it goes the other way. Yes, it does. If you are waiting to make a profit before you do these things, in my experience you're not going to make a profit. So many organizations, ministries and churches are struggling with financial issues. I know your pain. As anyone who follows our story knows, our ministry was in a ton of debt four years ago when I came on as director. Since that time, we've gotten out of debt and turned a profit every year. God has done amazing things through out team, for which we give Him the glory! I find that what Seth is saying here is absolutely true, with one disclaimer. For Christian leaders, spiritual disciplines must always be first. Before we started inve
We’re serving an Acts 10:34 God! He has a divine purpose for everyone and if you follow hard after Him, you’ll see it released!
Acts 10:34-35 says, "Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right."
Understand that as you seek the Lord with all of your heart, it is His greatest desire to fulfill your dreams. Your God-dreams are never something you should have to apologize for. People won't always understand the dream that God has put in your heart but don't ever let that deter you from pursuing it. Let the Holy Spirit create through you, and don't ever apologize for His working in you. Philippians 2:13 says, "for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose." Would it ever be God's will for us to minimize or apologize for God's will unfolding?
Yesterday my friend Pastor Craig Sloan shared a profound status on his facebook. It was, "Why is is that we try to explain our dreams to people for them to accept it, when God who never lies, gave it?"
That's a good question. I believe there are many answers to that question and for lack of space I will not devote a whole blog post to why I believe this is. I will, however, succinctly give one thing I believe in response to this, and that is that it's never profitable to try to explain a 10 x 13 idea to a 3 x 5 mind.
Matthew 6:33 tells you to see first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.

YOU!
Yes, YOU!!!
Nor just your pastor, your leader, your mentor, an evangelist on TV or some other dear saint that you've always looked up to. YOU. Y-O-U.
Make no mistake, it's on God's agenda to increase you. I've heard people say, "care about what God cares about...get on His agenda...and He'll bless you." That's true, and do you realize that part of God's agenda is to fulfill His divine purpose for YOU?
