Savanna made this collage the other day and calls it, "PK Life" and then on her facebook she wrote, "only a PK (pastor's kid) would understand." I found myself nodding and laughing looking at this -- I'm not a PK but I'm a mother to three of them. So I understand. I know there are some of you readers who are pastors, PW's or PK's and will find this little collage amusing. Just click and it will open up full size so you can see it better. Speaking of PK's -- today we are going to a wedding of one of our favorite PK's...Josh Conley, whose parents are Pastors Keith and Joy Conley of Harvest AG in Lakeland. They are some of our dearest friends and our children have grown up together in the Pen-FL Assemblies of God District the past 9 years since we've been here. Josh is marrying a beautiful young woman of God named Heidi Ensminger. We are all excited for what God has in store for them.

Balloons – PK’s help with setting up for parties/events at the church
On computer – keeping in touch with many people from the church and other PK’s online. Savanna keeps in touch with a lot of her friends from PK’s retreat.
Answering the constantly ringing phone in the pastor’s home (or at church if you are helping Mom and Dad)
Helping to fold bulletins at the church office.
Worshipping
Face Palm photo – this is an expression among kids today, “face palm” sort of means, “what in the world was that person thinking?” or “how crazy…” etc. PK’s see a lot of crazy stuff in the church. Unfortunately the only people they have to talk to about it safely are most times their family or other PK’s.
People shaking hands – PK’s meet and greet LOTS of people all the time.
Person sitting down on floor frustrated – there are a lot of frustrating moments as a PK.
Person on couch after cleaning – you help your parents clean up a lot at home for people to come over, or sometimes help before/after church events.
“Calm Down” sign – PK’s are exposed to crisis situations
Girl stacking chairs – enough said.
Women with babies – PK’s are sort of the “church baby” when they are little, passed to many people who love on them. Now that Savanna is an older PK she works in the nursery.
