In general, though, it goes the other way. Yes, it does. If you are waiting to make a profit before you do these things, in my experience you're not going to make a profit. So many organizations, ministries and churches are struggling with financial issues. I know your pain. Last night was a difficult night in our house for several reasons.
I was leaping tall buildings in a single bound -- as a woman, a wife, a mother, a pastor, a pastor's wife. It was pure insanity. Without God's grace, I couldn't start this day with confidence. But because of Him, and because I know who I am and whose I am, I am ready to say YES to this day!

My favorite verse in II Corinthians 9:8: And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. The Word works for me, and it works for you. But we've got to WORK IT!
