The PF Women Team at our Annual Team Retreat ~ 2018 Today on Seth Godin's blog, he said: It's tempting to decide to make a profit first, then invest in training, people, facilities, promotion, customer service and most of all, doing important work. In general, though, it goes the other way. Yes, it does. If you are waiting to make a profit before you do these things, in my experience you're not going to make a profit. Here we are in day three of frozen chosen country...Gatlinburg, TN. Wow, it's cold here. I forgot what cold weather was like. I like the mountains...I like sitting in front of a fireplace...I like this for a vacation, but I miss home.
Today we went to The Mill to eat (wonderful corn fritters there) and shopping in the stores at the Mill. Then took the boys indoor sky diving. Very unique experience, and they loved it. Jordan picked it up right away of course, as he usually does any sport. The instructor could tell he got the hang of it the first second and just let him go. I really freaked out when he just let him go. I couldn't believe it. I knew right then if Jordan could do that for his job, he would. He'd be really good at it. Dustin liked it too. We got a DVD of them doing it. Came back to cook and relax...and watch a movie. Tomorrow's another day.
