What To Do First to Make a Profit

The PF Women Team at our Annual Team Retreat  ~ 2018 Today on Seth Godin's blog, he said: It's tempting to decide to make a profit first, then invest in training, people, facilities, promotion, customer service and most of all, doing important work. In general, though, it goes the other way. Yes, it does. If you are waiting to make a profit before you do these things, in my experience you're  not going to make a profit. So many organizations, ministries and churches are struggling with financial issues. I know your pain. As anyone who follows our story knows, our ministry was in a ton of debt four years ago when I came on as director.  Since that time, we've gotten out of debt and turned a profit every year.  God has done amazing things through out team, for which we give Him the glory! It's going to be unleashed in great verbosity this week.  Just thought I'd prepare all who dare to read my upcoming posts.


Hold on with anticipation til' Monday.  In the meantime...we're going to have a phenomenal day at Celebration Church today.  God is going to show up and do His thing because we just let Him be God in His house and do what He wants.  What an amazing weekend I had with some of my Celebration women...I love being with them.  You know I went into this weekend more exhausted than I've ever been, and I was quite honestly tired when I came home but more in love with my CC family than ever before.  God is so good to me.  I am so blessed.  I don't have to talk myself into this...I don't have to call the things that are not as though they are in this regard.  There were times in days past I had to.  No more.  A while back there was a shift in the atmosphere.  A God-ordained shift.  I have been blessed, RIGHT NOW, with the amazing people that God has placed in this body.  With friends who are rock solid on the mountain and in the valley.    I  humbly say, "thank you, Father."

In the early hours of this morning, Jordan got home from work and checked his facebook and instantly received an IM from a friend who claimed to be in London, having been just robbed at gunpoint. Understandably Jordan was very concerned. His friend said he needed Jordan to send him some money immediately, as he was stranded. Jordan immediately alerted his father and I of the situation, thinking it was real and his friend needed help and wanted to know what he could or should do to reach out. Sisterhood Rises Up To Change Lives Forever

God is in the business of preserving families. It is His heart. It's my heart too. And, I'll unabashedly say here that I believe it should be everyone's heart. Everyone likes good news and I've got some for you today. If you are in doubt that God still speaks today and that He uses people to accomplish His work, I pray this will speak to you. Last night I was sitting in service at Celebration Church where we are pastors, and my husband was preaching. His message was about what we want to be remembered for in life, and he made the statement that we can't change our past but we can change the future.  In that moment, God spoke to me.
